Recipe by becky
A fragrant lavender simmer pot recipe with fresh and dried lavender flowers, vanilla, lemon, and leaves of fresh sage.
Small bunch fresh lavender
5 grams dried lavender buds (3 tablespoons)
Small bunch fresh sage
1 lemon, thinly sliced
1 vanilla pod, split lengthwise, or 1 tablespoon vanilla bean paste
Fill a large stock pot with water, allowing a few inches of space at the top.
Add all ingredients to the pot.
Bring to a gentle simmer on the stovetop.

Simmer over low heat for as long as desired, topping up with additional water as necessary.

You can save and re-use this simmer pot. After simmering, remove the pot from the stovetop and cover with a lid. When ready to re-use, remove the lid and “top up” the pot with clean water, along with fresh lavender and sage.
