A fragrant orange simmer pot recipe featuring fresh citrus, spices, and herbs.
10 star anise
3 cinnamon sticks
1 tablespoon whole cloves
1 tablespoon fennel seeds
1-2 sprigs fresh rosemary
1 navel orange, thinly sliced
Fill a large stock pot with water, allowing a few inches at the top. Add all ingredients to the pot.

Bring to a gentle simmer on the stovetop.

Simmer over low heat for as long as desired, topping up with additional water as needed.
Never leave a simmering pot unattended.
Add more water as needed. Do not allow a simmer pot to run dry.
Simmer pots are not edible. After use, allow the contents to cool, then drain and discard the water-logged fruit and spices.
