A creamsicle-inspired orange coffee recipe made with unsweetened cold brew, orange simple syrup, and vanilla bean paste.
2-3 teaspoons orange simple syrup, or to taste
240 milliliters unsweetened cold brew coffee (1 cup)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla bean paste, or to taste
Whole milk, cream, or half-and-half, or your favorite plant milk
Ice, optional, as desired
Spoon 2-3 teaspoons of homemade orange simple syrup into the bottom of a drinking glass. If the syrup is cold, warm for 5-10 seconds in the microwave or combine with a tablespoon of warm water to prevent the syrup from seizing when you add the cold ingredients.

Pour cold brew coffee over syrup, then stir in the vanilla bean paste.


Add ice, followed by a splash of whole milk, cream, half and half, or your favorite plant-based milk.


Serve immediately.
