A two-ingredient ginger limeade recipe made with freshly squeezed lime juice and homemade ginger simple syrup.
720 milliliters water (3 cups)
120 milliliters lime juice (1/2 cup; juice of 5 large limes)
120 milliliters ginger simple syrup (1/2 cup), or to taste
Lime slices or wedges, or candied ginger, to garnish
In a 1 liter jug or pitcher, whisk together water and lime juice.
Whisk in the ginger simple syrup. Taste and adjust.
Stir in 1/2 thinly sliced lime, if desired.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Pour over ice. Garnish with candied ginger or slices or wedges of fresh lime.
