An easy gummy bear recipe with Jello. These rainbow colored DIY gummy bears are perfect for birthday parties, Pride celebrations, and everyday snacking.

Ingredients

6 3-ounce (85-gram) packages Jello (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, in flavors of your choice)
6 .25-ounce packages unflavored gelatin, or 42 grams powdered gelatin (7 grams, or 2 teaspoons, per color)
480 milliliters cold water (2 cups)
Nonstick cooking spray, for greasing silicone mold

Instructions

Spritz silicone mold with a thin layer of nonstick cooking spray.

In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine red Jello powder with 7 grams (one .25-oz package) of powdered unflavored gelatin.

Add 60 milliliters (1/3 cup) cold water and whisk until powder dissolves. Set aside and allow mixture to sit at room temperature for 10 minutes.

Microwave on medium-high power for 30 seconds. Whisk with a small silicone whisk, then microwave 15 seconds more.

Place mold on a quarter sheet baking tray. With an eye dropper, drop Jello mixture into gummy bear mold.  Refrigerate for 20 minutes, or until firm.

Gently pop bears from silicone mold onto a sheet of wax paper or parchment, or a silicone baking mat.

Repeat with the orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple Jello flavors.

Mix colors together. Store gummy bears in a large plastic food storage bag or airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
