As a born-and-raised Central Pennsylvanian, I’ve always loved whoopie pies. Featuring two soft cakes with cream sandwiched in between, these classic PA Dutch treats allow plenty of room for interpretation, from traditional chocolate-and-vanilla to novelty flavors like watermelon and banana chocolate chip.
