Valentine’s Day Dessert Recipes

Valentine’s Day dessert recipes are some of my favorite recipes to develop. For starters, I love the traditional pink, red, and white color palette. The flavors (chocolate, strawberry, raspberry, and sparkling wine) are perfect for desserts. The classic shapes (hearts, lips, flowers, and balloons) provide plenty of inspiration. The wide array of fun, commercially available ingredients (candy hearts, Valentine’s Day sprinkles, chocolate covered cherries) always spark my creativity. I especially enjoy creating Valentine-centric twists on classic recipes. Some favorites include these strawberry marshmallow hearts or my heart-shaped strawberry peppermint patties.

Below you’ll find a roundup of my favorite Valentine’s Day dessert recipes. These include: chocolate covered cherries, red velvet whoopie pies, strawberry marshmallows, raspberry truffles, jam-filled puff pastry hearts, and more.

Making desserts for a party, preparing easy Valentine treats for school, or making a special V-Day treat for your sweetheart? I hope you’ll find a recipe here that you enjoy making and sharing with others.
