About Rebecca Frey

Rebecca FreyRebecca Frey is a recipe developer, food stylist and photographer, and creative food professional based in London and New York City. She is also a classically trained pastry chef. Her training includes the Diplôme de Pâtisserie from Le Cordon Bleu London (French pastry techniques diploma, requiring nine months of full time study) and a Professional Chocolatier’s Certificate from Ecole Chocolat, as well as an MSc in Culinary Innovation, a degree jointly awarded by Le Cordon Bleu London and Birkbeck, University of London.

Alongside her original recipes, Rebecca’s food photography work has appeared in web and print publications including Wine Enthusiast, The Chocolate Professor, Edible Lehigh Valley, and The Upside by Vitacost.

Rebecca has studied photography, including food and night photography, with Art of Intuitive Photography in New York City. In addition to food, she also loves to shoot nature, architecture, and urban landscapes.

Rebecca Frey is a freelance recipe developer, food writer, photographer, stylist, and pastry chef. She earned the Diplôme de Pâtisserie (French Pastry Techniques Diploma) from Le Cordon Bleu London in 2020 and an MSc in Culinary Innovation from Birkbeck, University of London in 2022, where she focused her dissertation research on Pennsylvania Dutch recipes. She also holds a Professional Chocolatier’s Certificate from Ecole Chocolat. Rebecca has developed recipes for websites including Serious Eats, The Spruce Eats, Wine Enthusiast, and others.
